FROM OUTSIDE - A VIEW IGNORED

"The true purpose of an inherited knowledge or the in born intellect lies in the application of that for the   welfare of the less fortuned God's(nature's) loveable children…But since the supreme force already does that welfare part ,WE, the more fortuned people get ourselves involved in making more fortunes so that we die wealthy…"

While I was writing this article,I actually was googling for the best quote that would suit the below written context.But then even google doesn't have a proper quote I thought and gave the words of myself.I rather like to avoid the words "mentally retarded" as the topic may provide a better understanding in the later part, but for now, in order to explain the above quote I have to use those words.Well, I call them "less fortuned" but "God's/nature's loveable children".Aren't they mutually exclusive?? No they are not.An average adult person laughs 25 times a day while the same adult as a child had laughed 200 times a day.This is a psychological fact.And theists believe that it's God that make children laugh when young and talks with them happily.It is only based upon these two points I pondered saying "God's/nature's loveable children" since their communication with the supremo is on a higher scale when compared to an average adult.


Less fortuned…Yes.I have been working for a NGO for the past 4 years and I do know what "fortunate" means.People who are in a position to read this article are more fortunate.You(and I) are actually the elite runners since we are provided with the most cordial facilities that are wanted to afford a luxurious life.So if at all an inferiority raises within you ,I kindly request you to take a look at yourself in the mirror and consciously feel that you are blessed. Now what's the point of writing an article in a subject you already have enough knowledge/awarness. The answer is "NO",we are actually not aware of this side of the less fortuned people and we are under false perception that it's a just a disease of genetic disorder/CNS/hyper stress etc.I would like to elucidate my words "Less fortuned" by giving in context the story of three children and leave it upto you the next voluntary action of yours.

Sushmitha:

"She's having her periods Ram and her mother doesn't want her to be send here daily.Poor child would break if not the OT/PT is discontinued for a prolonged time"-the doctor told me when I visited the school.Sushmitha is my adopted girl (half the readers of this article already know this).The child was playing with the building structure kit provided for her Occupational therapy and gave a sweet smile as I approached her with my hands stretched.The anomaly now is we are financially equipped with what the next requisite will be but the emotional and the nature's call cannot be averted.That was the first time I hated the "Grand design " for providing a no visible solution for these children.

I still remember my 21st  birthday which was celebrated in "Bhavishya Deepam" with my junior and that was the best birthday surprise I ever had.While the mood of celebrations were on a high tide with my friends jingling around,a home alone kid came on to me and sat on my lap.His expressions were neither sober nor serene.In a grunt accent which I never understood he told me a terrible thing."My mom and dad died".One could imagine a 11 year old kid whose intellect is under normal saying the above sentence in a sign language.I call "less fortuned" because the poor kid doesn't understand the sequential end of the living of his parents either.This ,I would say was my first strike towards the less fortuned people.

Neethu:

The choices one makes in life decides his/her way of living.I aspired to become a civil servant when I was 12 years old doing my seventh grade.But it took me 12 more years to put my dream into action and start working towards it and I believe I soon will be there.This particular incident in my life actually made me  take a different view point on dignity and women.Neetu (the name by which we are calling her now) was brought to the rehabilitation home about 10 months back.She may be now around 35(we still aren't quiet sure about her age).The incident that I am about to describe may be shocking to some people living under the safe roof.The time when we rescued her ,she was literally naked above the waist and the place is situated at the heart of the city.Few cameras too went up for the sympathy 'likes' in social media but hardly none had the outlook to get her covered.The gruesome nature of this "less fortuned" people is that they are not aware about the social etiquette or rather I would say they are completely unaware about the dangers of this so called "highly civilised" society.

So,I think I justified the phrase I used above "Less fortuned people".Now moving on the best part, me being a rational theist who tries reason out the existence of the God in the form that most people worship, call them "nature's loveable people" because I am in a position to write about them and you are in a position to read about them and we both are in a position to HELP them.So ,though less fortuned by birth ,these kids are the most loveable by the 'nature'.

Lastly,I am a firm believer of the quote "A Mind is a terrible thing to waste ",so if at all you believe this post of mine is worth a share,please do your best to create awareness and thereby harness HELPHOOD.
